Wolf + Lamb

The luxurious Marcy Hotel is named for two prominent members of the Williamsburg area's history, Wolf + Lamb. A key location in the safety and commerce of the area, each room depicts some element of the namesake's character and why they are remembered.

The recent renovation and refurbishment enhanced the interior and guestrooms which now reflect a sense of authentic ghetto hospitality, history and romance. With graffiti entryways, opulent fabrics and found-garbage chandeliers, the Marcy presents the guest with a true depiction of the area's native art - or lack thereof.

Found-Garbàge

The Marcy was leased in dismal condition, an old machine shop. All of the materials used in the renovation and decoration of Wolf + Lamb were found-garbage. Upon hearing of the imminent gutting and tranformation of an old landmark theater in upstate New York to a Payless Shoes store, the hotel's management was able to intervene and rescue seats, piano rolls, vintage horns and lighting fixtures.
